Variety is a world wide organisation known as the children’s charity, dedicated to raising funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children. Since its inception in 1990 the Variety BASH has raised $7.5 Million dollars. In 2007 the BASH raised more than $1.3 million to benefit disadvantaged and special needs children not just in Queensland but Australia wide. The team members pay all the cost of preparing repairing the car, petrol & meals. 100% of all sponsors donations go to Variety for the children.
Variety has many projects to help children, one is the Liberty Swing which we think is awesome. The Liberty Swing is designed for children confined to a wheelchair. It allows them to swing through the air, with the wind on their face and experience something we all took for granted as a kid.
