2009 Variety BASH crew of Greg ‘Kiwi’ M, Brett “Bretto” C have been joined by Dave B “DB” for the trip from Townsville to Alice Springs. A special guest will join the crew in Alice, Carla C.
2008
2008 Variety BASH crew was unchanged from 2007 consisting of Greg “Kiwi” M, Scott “Sideways” H and Brett ”Bretto” C who covered some 5500 km on the trip and raised over $10,000 dollars for the kids. Stu N joined the crew in Bathurst to watch the big race. Mischief and Mayhem may not have qualified to start on the grid but, Bretto walked amongst the Drivers and stood the Start Line. The 2008 Variety BASH broke the Queensland fundraising record with an incredible $1.9 million dollars raised for the sick and disabled children in Queensland.
2007
2007 Variety BASH crew of 3 Greg “Kiwi” M, Scott “Sideways” H and Brett ”Bretto” C covered some 5000 km on the trip and raised over $8,122 dollars for the kids. The 2007 Variety BASH commissioned 2 Liberty Swings, donated 1 Sunshine Coach and raised over $1.3 million dollars for the sick and disabled children in Queensland.
2006
2006 Great Endeavour crew of 2, Alasdair “The Scotsman” and Brett “The Jester”, covered 5959 km in 12 days, used 1,291 litres of fuel at a cost of $ 1771.12. Got bogged 3 times (2 tows and 1 self recover), hit 2 kangaroos and one bird. More importantly raised over $4,900 dollars for the Endeavour Foundation and its clients. In total the participants of the 2006 Great Endeavour raised over $250,000 dollars for the foundation.
